張伯維去年轉戰P. LEAGUE+高雄鋼鐵人，就涉嫌酒駕，當時球團懲處他禁賽1年、扣除2/3薪水。除了被禁賽跟罰薪之外，還要罰從事社會服務300小時，上週五在球隊的引薦下到楠梓分局協助洗警車，他說「自己是來贖罪的！」

31歲球星張伯維是PLG職籃鋼鐵人隊球員，去年8月底於聚餐後酒駕，行經高雄台88線時，煞車不及車頭追撞自小貨車尾後，再往右偏移追撞停於一旁巡邏車，造成3輛車車損，幸無造成人員傷亡，經警方測得其酒測值每公升達0.95毫克，因張伯維同意罰款等條件，檢方依公共危險罪予以緩起訴處分；鋼鐵人球團亦發表聲明，宣布張伯維禁賽1年並減薪，另須從事社會服務300小時。

張伯維透過球隊引薦，10日到楠梓分局加昌派出所，見到門口停放的警車髒了，便主動提出清洗警備車輛。身材190公分、高壯的他，彎起身軀專注的擦拭警車，光是站在警車前就相當吸睛。雖然身為球星，但洗車一點也不馬虎，仔細地為平時人民保母的交通工具打上泡沫、沖水、擦乾，動作俐落，將原本布滿灰塵的警車洗的清潔光亮，連一旁的員警也對張伯維認真的態度充滿讚賞。

張伯維表示，希望藉著這一次的公益服務的過程，學習尊重生命的真諦，更希望建立起公益服務的價值觀。
