判決書指出，民國108年4月17日台中2名男子在台中承租房屋挖比特幣，於同年7月24日使用老虎鉗將電表外箱的封印鎖剪斷，並使用螺絲起子轉開電表外殼，將電度表前比流器接至電表電流絆1L、3L加工折斷，致使電表計量失準，用以竊取台電，供挖礦機發電。

台電察覺有異，並於109年3月30日報警，台電發現自108年7月24日起，2名男子每日都竊取8736度，共215萬8544度電，因此依法提告，以每度電平均單價為4.07元，臨時電價1.6倍為6.512元計算，向2男求償1405萬6438元。

法院審酌後指出，2男犯行屬實，竊取超過200萬度電，應以每度電平均單價為4.07元，臨時電價1.6倍為6.512元計算，賠償台電1405萬6438元，按年息5%計算利息，全案可上訴。此外，台電推估夏季每戶人家平均月用電約433度，2男竊取的電量可供10戶人家用41年。

成大重啟線下實驗室參訪 大學部研究日學生團隊分享國際競賽經驗
