高雄長庚醫院有一位來自蒙古罹患罕見亞伯氏症的五歲小男童，他一出生頭顱變形，手指和腳趾全部都黏在一起，男童是被到蒙古義診的台灣醫師發現，因此將他帶回台灣治療，經歷2次手術後，男童的雙手和雙腳腳趾終於分開，手指還能滑手機。
5歲男童用包著繃帶的小手滑著手機，這對一般人來說簡單的動作，對手術前的他來說很困難，雙手拿畫筆就很吃力，來自蒙古的男童因罹患罕病，一出生雙手手指和雙腳指頭全都黏在一起，高雄長庚整形外科主任賴瑞斌說：「會有123型看他黏的程度，很美麗的名詞叫做玫瑰花蕾手。」醫師說小男童罹患亞伯氏症之手先天異常，三類型中最嚴重一型，當初是醫院醫師到蒙古義診發現了男童，礙於當地醫療資源不足，才將孩子帶回台灣治療，醫院評估幫男童做了2次手術，過程相當辛苦，還好成果令人欣慰。
目前醫院計畫2年後，再為男童做頭顱及上顎後縮手術，男童父親說：「我們很高興2次手術非常成功。
